Mechanical mowing Send an enquiry

Water weeds in ponds, lakes, ponds and canal nets. They are mowed by navigable machines, and where the machine does not approach they are removed manually.

Mechanical mowing

Heavy buoyancy machines operate on the principle of harvest combine harvesters: they cut weed vegetation under water and at the same time collect it and store it on the picker. One horizontal and two vertical cuttings descend up to two meters below the water surface.

Thus, submersible, emergent and floating aquatic weeds are suppressed.

For dense weed vegetation in standing waters, lakes and ponds, special machines with rotary cutters are used.

Manual removal

Emergent weed species are quickly restored and sprout from deep rhizomes, so in ponds and drainage and irrigation systems, the entire habitus is removed. For this, different types of rake are used.

The same tool removes algae, fallen leaves and other floating waste from water surfaces.

With mechanical removal goes chemical suppression with total or selective herbicides.

To what depth does the navigable machine cut?

One horizontal and two vertical cuts can descend up to two meters below the water surface.

Which weeds are fighting?

Submerged, emergent and floating aquatic weeds can all be controlled.

Why are weeds removed by hand?

Because they are quickly renewed and sprout from deep rhizomes. The rake removes the entire habitus, so the weeding is delayed.

Do algae and leaves come off the water?

The same types of rake remove algae, fallen leaves and other floating waste.
