Access to the work area References — completed work Work on height from rope Send an enquiry

A rope worker, in a belt and with a helmet, works on the tin facade of an industrial facility.

When scaffolding is inaccessible or not worth it, the work is done with rope. The same craft, other equipment and other access to the facility.

Access to the work area

Access is selected according to the site and risk assessment: truss and roof structures, scaffolds, fixed or mobile ladders, towers, platforms or rope-access equipment.

Rope access is used to clean hard-to-reach glass and suitable facade surfaces and to visually inspect accessible parts of a structure. The method is selected only after the site has been assessed.

Work carried out at height

  • Cleaning hard-to-reach and high-risk glass surfaces
  • Cleaning facade surfaces with a method suited to the material
  • Visual inspection of accessible parts of facades and structures
  • Access by rope, tower, scaffold or platform following a site assessment

Tree cutting and larger finishing or trade work are not part of this regular service. Smaller engagements are considered separately.

Work on height from rope

2 jobs, 27 photos.

When is rope access used instead of scaffolding?

The access method is selected after assessing the site, risk and safe equipment-positioning options.

From what height is glass cleaned by rope access?

Height alone does not determine the method. Access, safety and site conditions are decisive.

Does this service include tree cutting or larger trade work?

Not as part of the regular offer. Any smaller engagement is assessed separately for each job.

Do you have a job at an inaccessible height? Tell how high it is, what kind of object it is and what needs to be done.
